

In 1903 a hameln architect designed Wettorstr. 15 an upper middle class home. In 1919 neighboring houses were erected. The facades, which show elements of the art epoch "Art Noeveau" and are listed as national monuments.
In the spring of 1990 necessary renovations commenced on the structural fabric of the building. While redecorating the interior, the workmen found original Jugendstil paintings at the main portal, which serve as an essential reminder of the history of this building.
On 10th September 1993 the dream of Baerbel and Ernst Deutsch, was fulfilled and the opening of the Hotel Jugendstil took place.
